The Office of Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi in the Afghan Capital, Kabul held a ceremony to celebrate the birthday of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali (peace be upon him) on last Thursday. This ceremony was attended by religious and cultural figures as well as public groups of Shia believers. Furthermore, a similar ceremony was also held on this occasion at Lady Zahra Complex in Kabul. Clerics, religious scholars, and students of Islamic seminaries participated in this celebration, during which Mr. Danesh delivered a speech.
